Richard Halprin graduated with honors from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1989, having completed clerkships with a plaintiff law firm, an insurance defense firm and an internship with a public broadcast TV station.

Richard Halprin has also counseled, advised and represented musicians, filmmakers, a television station, many local businesses and an international telecommunication company in areas concerning contracts, employment and litigation. He also has extensive experience in family law related matters, whether the issue involves juveniles, neglect and abuse or cases involving custody, guardianship or probate disputes.
As an attorney and district court magistrate, Richard Halprin has cultivated a network of relationships within the legal community, including the judiciary, law enforcement and the various prosecutor's offices that provide him an edge in understanding how to best serve client's interests in the most efficient and logical manner under any given set of circumstances.
